Statement Of FaithAs explained elsewhere on this site, Aletheia Bible College does not seek to present simply the personal convictions of the tutors nor the view of any one Christian denomination. Instead, we seek to empower the student to analyze each basic doctrine of the Gospel in depth, considering the wide varieties of Christian interpretation both today and in history... and come to a reasoned, personal conviction of where one stands. We're not a denominational training college, seeking to groom students into a particular denomination. But on the other hand, we are of course Christians! We're aware that our students come from a very wide range of denominational backgrounds. After much prayer and reflection, the Bible College decided to adopt the Apostle's Creed as it's Statement of Faith. All our staff fervently believe the Creed, and we ask an "in principle" acceptance of it from all our course students: The Apostles' CreedI believe in God, the Father almighty, I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, I believe in the Holy Spirit, |
